What are your hours of operation?
The Boat Shed opens at 11:00 AM every day. Typical closing times vary based on business, and time of the year. Generally; Spring/Summer 9PM/9:30PM, Fall/Winter 8PM weekdays or 9PM weekends.
Do you close for any holidays?
Generally the only days we close are The 4th of July, Thanksgiving, and Christmas.
Do you accept reservations?
Yes, you can call us at 360-377-2600 to make a reservation for parties of 8 to 30 people.
Walk-in parties less than 8 have no problem being seated immediately, or sometimes with a short 5 to 10 minute wait on the weekends.
Is there outdoor (deck or waterfront) seating?
Yes! Our restaurant offers the most stunning waterfront dining in town, we can never get enough. In the spring and summer months the deck can open as early as March. (Or even catch us on a sunny February afternoon!)
What is the parking situation?
Parking is available right in front of The Boat Shed, as well as above our stairs in the gravel lot, located at the bottom of East 11th Street.
Do you accommodate private parties or events?
Yes, we can accommodate private parties of up to 30 people. There are two semi-secluded areas (Neither of which are totally private). We have a 20% included gratuity for parties of 8-30 guests, and two private party options.
– Option one: $100 Room Fee includes standard one and a half to two hours of dining where generally everyone is ordering food, and your group has the Garden room or Cave to yourself.
– Option two: $250 Room Fee caters to parties with more of an “event” style, baby showers, bridal showers, etc. that will be more than 2.5 hours, where all guests may not be ordering food.
What type of cuisine / menu offerings do you have?
Our main menu features seafood, steaks, pasta, burgers, salads, etc. We are widely known for our life changing clams, award winning New England style clam chowder, fabulous fish & chips, crab & shrimp stuffed mushrooms, and even more unique dishes like our wasabi salmon, and seasonal bread pudding as well as many other unforgettable desserts.
Do you offer vegetarian / gluten-free options?
Definitely! Large groups often gather here when their guests have food restrictions such as gluten, dairy or prefer veggie options. We are proud to offer our gluten free menu which showcases our gluten free buns, bread, corn tortillas, past, and even teriyaki skewers! We can make any pastas or clams with an olive oil base rather than dairy, salad options can be dairy free, and many more. We have black bean patty options for vegan guests, and our Pomodoro pasta can be vegan as well as other salads on the menu.
Is the restaurant accessible and do you have seating for children?
We are wheelchair accessible. There is a designated ADA-accessible parking spot right out front, and we also offer high chairs, booster seats, and have a changing table in both bathrooms!
Do you have happy hour specials or daily deals?
We have happy hour drinks available in the restaurant and bar from 2-5 Monday through Saturday, and all day Sunday. We also have a happy hour apps menu available only in our bar/lounge during those same hours.
